ok guys where are some more pics with h techs im bebating on which kind of lowering springs to go with and well i live in pa where the roads suck now i dont like the trds cuz i think the back sits lower then the front and yet i think the s techs are too low for me especaily around where i live but i think the h techs will be alright can anyone show some pics of h techs and prices and where they bought, and some specs on them also maybe after reading all the threads the hotickis are still on my mind as a maybe too but i dont know what to get someone please help me thanx bye

 

htechs are about the same as trd anyway, but trd is close to even in the front and rear, while h-techs are lower in the front.

here are there stats...

TRD lowers 1.4 in the front and 1.3 in the rear with a spring rate of 173 in the front and 309 in the rear.

while H-techs lower 1.85 in the front and 1.46 in the rear with a spring rate of 180 in the front and 310 in the rear.

TRDs are just usually slightly more expensive.

i have a buddy who lives in ct with h-techs, but i can't find pics of his car anywhere. but i know that now he wishes he had gotten the s-techs instead. the ride with the roads is not bad with the s-techs. i had em and i live in jersey...you should see our roads! nothing compared to what i see when i travel back home with my bf to pa.

 

I'd go with h-techs,just use the search and you'll be able to find them(you can see pix everywhere) they're nicer than the TRD but not as nice as the s-techs ;)

 

i would say the same thing...if you are eliminating all thought of the s-techs definitely get the h-techs and don't waste your $$ on the trds, BUT s-techs are way better!! and the drop isn't too too worrysome.

that is almost 3/8 of an inch.........to some people that is a big difference.

 

Htechs will give you a lower front end.......casuing a slight raking effect.

s-techs IMo are the best.aewsome drop(gotta lower the front a little more) but other than that they give the best ride

 

OK well now im still confused on which ones to get i narrowed it down the the tein H techs and s techs are there camber kits out for the cars and do u need them with the h techs or the s techs, also what is the spring rate like what does it mean i have no idea. and after i get my comments on these ill figure out which ones to get please help me and send me links of the camberkits and everythings thanks alot guys bye

 

camber kits are not necessary but if you want them then go ahead? It actually looks a little sexy! I say go with Hotchkis springs? McGeorgeparts.com you can get the Hotchkis springs and Hotchkis camber links.

The springs are $145 and the camber links are $169. But since your wanting to go with TEIN? im not sure where they sell them? Search around on here in the classifieds.

 

ok when u say not nessary u mean that i can drive with the lowering springs on and not have to worrry about bad uneven tire wear ? thats what a camber kit does hense is why i asked the question before

 

i think if you go lower then a TRD or Htech drop then you would want to get a camber kit......I know on my Htechs they were able to adjust my toe and camber, the back could use a kit, but im not worried about it........
the lower the drop the more the suspension geometry is changed. However if you rotate your tires every time you change your oil and depending on your driving you may never need a camber kit.... besides a little negative camber helps. ALSO, if you get the neogen tires they are designed for cars that run negative camber.

My NF210's dropped the rear 1.75 inches. I did not have to put camber kits in the rear.

The stock rear camber spec is -.5 degrees, about normal. I adjusted both of the rears to -.7, but there was more there, if needed.
I'm not sure how much would be needed for a drop 2" or more. You may HAVE to get the kits then...

Just like "Kilo6_one" said! If you go with a drop more than 1.5" then if you want get the kit. If you change your oil on a regular basis as when your supposed to then you get the tires rotated then you should be good! I actually like the way it looks with a lil neg. camber! And those Nitto NeoGen tires are made for cars with camber as in my part.....so those are next on my list when i get rims+tires.
