I got there later in the afternoon for CCM12, but it was still packed, and was cool that it was pretty much go anywhere park anywhere. When's Wekfest?

Snapped off a few today after I lowered the front another 1/2" or so.

I'm pleased with it for the time being... Only had the car since Mid/late Jan. lol

Some iPhone pictures for now I'll have some pictures taken with my Canon T3i soon. I'm lowered on Rokkor coils.

Default calianns Tein H Springs

I used Tein H Tech Lowering Springs & they were 182.99 tax and shipping included. Installed them yesterday with the help from A&K Muffler In Mineral Wells Tx & had My alignment done this am. Handles great! I Love it!! I attached pics Of before and after and the stock springs compared to the the Tein Springs.

Not happy after dumping the Raceland coils to the max. However, I know I can get more my removing collars, which will come in the near future. For now, I'll just live with this height. Damn 17"s. Need to get some money saved so I can order some 16" rims and tires.

Looks good, but it's never low enough. In time, you'll get the itch to go lower too!

Oh yeah I know it, I've been saving just doing everything in Lil girl steps learning as I go, I wanna bag it. Just gonna take time I want rims and a head unit first then will get bags, hey just an FYI today my front left side was making a terrible popping sound and I didn't screw my nuts down enough on my shocks when I put the springs on, it's been a terrible ride all day every bump I thought it was gonna break but I know what's wrong so I can fix it tomorrow

Ouch, that counts as an oops! lol.

I don't think I could bag the tC personally. I love being low, and I love air ride. But personally I think static is the way to go. And I've driven through Mansfield a few times, not bad roads through the central populated area's. I do vaguely remember cringing over a railroad crossing in my old xb once... But now I am at the point that if I don't scrape going over an obstacle, it's not low enough.

Never happy with lowness. It's a disease and it's contagious. I'm currently about 3 1/4" from the ground at frame rails. 3" at the S pipe. I'd like to get that down to 2.5 or more inches from the ground... for now.

Chill out guys. Bought them used and didn't get the ESM caps until I was leaving for my four and half hour trip back. They'll be swapped out today if it doesn't start raining. I've gotta raise it more.. or pave my driveway. I like the paving the driveway thing better haha.

Default Looking for some help.

I just bought a 06 TC about 2 months ago and I'm looking to do 4 to 5 auto cross races a year. I live in a small town with bad roads so I know I don"t want to drop it more than 2" but I'm afraid that even 2" could be too much. I'm looking for suggestions on lowering springs, sway bars, struts, etc. and what order I should do them in. Also I was thinking of running 15" rims and tires on race days to save money on track tires. I don't have a huge budget so I will have to make these mods slowly as I can save up the money. Thank you in advance for any opinions you have.

I recommend:

- Progress Rear Sway Bar
- Ingall's 4-Point Rear Brace
- DC Sport Front Strut bar
- A brand of Coilovers w/ Adjustable Dampening. ( B&G, TEIN, BC, D2 )
- Good Tires.

I wouldn't go any lower than 17's for the tC since it has a Large Wheelbase And body style.

^Only Tein SS(Super Street) and SS-P have adjustable dampers.

EDIT:For Tein coil over offerings, SS and SS-P. B&G, D2, BC have damper adjustable.

Oh and 16" rims would work good too. The SPEC tC came with 16" rims... 15" rims will probably not clear the brakes anyhow.
