^ the only way warranty is voided is if something happens to your suspension and the springs are the culprit. they have to prove it though. so, yea aftermarket springs wont void the warranty

btw what kind of grill is that?
Thanks, I love em ... tho I kinda want the front .25-.5" lower.

The grill is custom. Lower grill chopped to fit with the chrome trim.

What I meant was, even with stock everything, and full warantee, if you blow you shock, they wont' replace it. Just like if a headlight burns out. Unless it is a short, they wont' replace it.
Now, I've heard putting in sway bars might effect your warantee beaus it stresses the body frame more, but no, dropping on lowering springs will not void your warantee on anything not realated to the suspension.

they freak out because A) Manuf. don't pay the full labor or part rates that you do when its out of warrantee, hence the Magnuson Moss Act. and B) they make so little money on the scion line in the first place that they actually may lose money on any continued warrantee Support.
...Plus under the MMAct in order for them to prove it shouldn't be covered under warrantee they need to invest time and labor into proving it, which in the end either way isn't worth it to them. Which is why they pray on the consumer's ignorance.

I am thinking very hard on what to get as far springs are concerned.. I want and I am going to get hotchkis sways, but I just don't know if hotchkis springs will be enough of a drop for my taste... I don't want to do teins, 2.4 and 2.0 is just to much for me and where I live, so I was looking at the goldline?! The springs that are 2.0 all the way around. Any rubbing issues with those? Anyone know the spring rates? I can look for them, j/w if anyone knew them offhand. I am planning on getting some rims, 17x8 (can we fit 8.5 with this much of a drop?). Also, since some are different drops both front and back to make the car have a better center of gravity, would the even drop all the way around be not what I am looking for? Sorry for all the q's, just trying to figure all this out before I purchase real soon... thanks in advance

TRDs won't give you that much of a drop.

You should just go with coilovers.
But if you dont' want to spend the dogh (your gonne end up needing shocks anyway) you could try the tien H.techs.

you say that yet I don't see anyone getting shocks with them, practically everyone is using the stock shocks and struts... they probably should be replaced as they will eventually go out, but it is not a necessity at first and who knows how long the stocks would really last... h-techs really isn't much of a drop at all, I think I will just stick with everything hotchkis, springs, sways, front strut tower for now... then shocks later on in the future if I really think it needs to be done...

Hotchkis is the perfect combo of height and performance.
