Default Powerslot Plus?

I want to do a big brake kit but i've been doing some research. I don't race my car, so i've heard that getting a "big brake kit" won't help as much as getting some replacement slotted rotors. I found these today and i wanted to know if anyone is running them on their TC? It is bigger rotors but still use factory caliper. www.Tirerack.com sells these kits. I called them today and they said it was around $900 for both front and rear!!! I thought that is sweet compared to just the price of a front "big brake kit."

They offer no advantage over BBKs, and may increase your stopping distance. However, they look good for shows if that's more important to you.

i love the look of these, if i had the extra cash i would pick them up just because they fill out the wheels alot better than stocks brakes do

i have the kit front and back. its more of a show mod. there are forum sponsors who sell them much cheaper than tirerack. I got my fronts for around $350 and the rears around $300 from 2 different forum sponsors. the problem comes when its time to replace the rotors. Powerslot's retail price per rotor (front) is around $325.

meh, i'd just get a brake package from like stoptech or dezod which is upgraded pads, rotors and in some cases brake lines and fluids. if you really just want to make the wheels look better, just paint the calipers, that makes a huge difference in my opinion.

WOW!, i had no idea they were that expensive, your better off just buying a whole new kit and it will be cheaper. and does anyone have any idea on how long these rotors are supposed to last???
