Rock. Thanks. Most of the few places I've seen so far online that carry them look less than disreputable.

You guys dropped 3+ on coilovers aren't going to have "problems" other than the road hazards you encounter at that ride height. Your tC isn't handling to its fullest capabilities with your high center of gravity and your low roll center because it isn't balanced properly. O.K. for street racing, not for hanging in corners with EVOs

Too true. If you think you're going to hang with Evo's (or STi's, or any other AWD car for that matter) in a tC, you are delusional. Except of course the Suzuki Aerio. I could out-corner one of those in my Cavalier. :-p (They have a AWD option, but it requires the automatic transmission.. Bleck.. )

Although I was initially amazed with SCC's set up on their project tC, my brother brough up an interesting point. Tires. The Evo and Sti come from the factory with pretty much track tires on them (IIRC). SCC put Kumho ECSTA MX tires on their project. According to tireracks website, the Evo MR come stock with Yokohama ADVAN A046 tires. A quick tire comparison on tireracks website shows that the stock tires on the evo are superior to the Kuhmo's they put on their project. My brothers point was if they did a spec tire comparison, the numbers wouldn't be that far apart from car to car. Back to topic, I was thinking about Progess Coilovers but decided I need to keep the tC nice enough to carry people in comfort, plus I have something with 2 wheels that does something (for the price) no car can do.

Woah Woah Woah! I just found a place that has the Progress coilovers for $979. WTF. http://www.robearracing.com/pd_progress_cs1.cfm
I've GOT to be missing something.. I can't find them anywhere else for less than $1100. I WANT those coilovers, but at THAT low of a price, I'm skeptical of the retailer.

I just ordered the Progress coilovers. Now I'm REALLY gonna have a hard time sleeping at night, waiting for them too.
