Default Pros and Cons Strut Bars (Ingalls vs GReddy)

I cant seem to make up my mind. I have a RS5.0 so obviously I'm going to need to trim the foam and remove the stock subs if I go with the Ingalls. If I go with GReddy, I understand that I will need to make carpet cuts?

Can you guys help me decide which to go with? 4 pt Strut bars almost seems convincing over 2 pt Strut bars but would like to hear some opinion. Oh and money isn't the issue.

If money isnt an issue buy sway bars. Strut bars r mostly for show. Sways bars give a Very big improvement.

Rear strut bar slightly improves the rear of the car, and I mean slightly. The front strut bar does nothing on these (and most fwd cars). The struts sit directly on the firewall which is the strongest point of the car, adding a strut bar to the front is all show since it cannot improve rigidity. As far as who's got the better product, their all really the same. Same mounting, same job, same purpose.

I also vote for sways.

My car comes with TRD rear sway already.

I'm also trying to buy something that I can install by myself. I dont think I have the tools for front sway install.

IMO the c-pillar and rear strut won't gain you much. With that cash you could easily get some nice coils, and a better sway bar and be much better off.

I'm very **** about my car since I've had very bad experience with all of the shops (including dealerships) around my area so I like to do everything myself. I'll eventually get all the tools needed for front sway and do that next year. Regardless, I'll have all the goodies, I'm just deciding to get these first.

Besides, the C-Pillar Bar will serve more than one purpose, I'll use it as a hanger for my suits..ect.

I'm guessing no one here will help so ill take my question else where.

We've answered your question about the bars and told you they are a waste of money. I've also said they are both the same and both will give you the same gain of nothing. Spend your money as you want, but if you want to get something out of it, you're going the wrong way.

You can pick up a dme front strut bar off eBay for 48 bucks. I picked up front and rear for less than 100. Def more for looks but I like them

I'd do what he did. Save some money and get two DME strut bars.
