recent alignment specs question/concern
i recently had the trd springs installed on my car (they're great by the way!) and had an alignment done the same day by the place that did the spring install. the install went excellent, but i have a question about my alignment specs.
where my concerns lie are with the camber on the front wheels. when i went to pick up my car after the spring install and the alignment were done, i got the printout showing the following for the front camber:
front left camber:
before: -.42
actual: -.47
front right camber:
before: -.56
actual: -.55
all seemed well as these numbers are well within the specified range listed next to them. well, the problem is my car pulled to the right. not drifted like that safety thing we all know about. it was puling to the right. i actually had to keep pulling the steering wheel to the left as i was driving straight. (and yes, i tested it on many different roads)
well, i went back to the place and told them that the car was pulling to the right. they were really nice and put the car back on the alignment machine and adjusted the front camber for the right and left to the following:
front left camber:
actual: -.50
front right camber:
actual: -.98
(the "before" category specs weren't listed on the new printout because they are the "actual" numbers from the first alignment.)
well, now the car feels back to normal and doesn't pull at all just like when it was stock. that's great! it's fixed! the new front camber numbers are still well within the specified range and that's great too!
but now here's my question/concern:
will the new front camber specs for left and right being so far off from each other (compared to them being closer to each other in the first alignment) cause any problems with tire ware?
i am just worried about ruining my brand new tires. i'd hate to do that. the numbers are still within spec, but it's just the large difference of -.50 left and -.98 right that has me feeling a bit uneasy. i'm no expert on these things so i have no idea what's ok and what's not. sorry for the long post, but i just wanted to explain everything. thanks in advance.

If you just had a slight pull, the shop should have adjusted the tie rod ends. If they did anything to the camber to correct a pull, that likely is the wrong course of action.
We've performed in just a few months 10 alignments on our tC racecar. I'd say we know something about it.

thanks for the reply. i'm not sure how strong of a pull it could have been categorized as, but it was definitely noticeable. going straight on the highway i would have to keep pulling the wheel to the left about every two seconds. i had a feeling that the new adjustment to the camber was not the correct solution to the problem. i'm going to go and get another alignment from a different place and get my front camber back to normal. if the pulling returns i'll then have the new place find the solution. if anyone has any more input, it would be appreciated.
