Default s-tech and snow

so through a big mix up i have s-techs on my car when i ordered h-techs, but anyways im dealing with it and was wondering. The whole reason i did h-techs was i wanted to be able to drive in the snow, has anyone had experience with s-techs and snow?

Put it this way, my TRD springs make it a pain in the snow. All of the snow gets packed in the wheel well since there is only a very little gap and the snow can't escape. With s-techs, it should be horrible - sorry.

well living in southern California, I really couldnt give you an honest answer, but my opinion would be it really cant be great, especially if you got bigger rims (18's), the snow will never be able to escape from the wheel well.

Yea, with all of the snow packed in the wheel well, the car suspension has limited mobility. I had a lot of snow in the wheel well and hit a little bump. Well the tire couldn't move up enough and the little bump felt like a big accident. I was on the highway and actually pulled over it sounded so bad. These 'rubbing' issues when snow gets sent in there is bad. And remember, this is on TRDs

I'm on stock springs right now and the same thing happened to me. This winter is going to suck once I put my new springs on.

my suspension did fine in the snow. on s-techs. then again northern virginian winters doesnt get that much snow at a time (usually 6in or less). only had trouble because my stock front tires were going bald.
