It's either S-techs or horrible wheel gap. That's all that needs to be said.

When I bought my car it had S-Techs on it. Combine that with Pennsylvania potholes and the RS1 lip (now scraped and cracked) and the lowering becomes impractical for a daily commuter. Does it look awesome that low? Of course! Will they shorten the life of my struts? Probably. So I'm pulling them out and raising the car an inch with either H-Techs or TRD springs.

Cali has pretty good roads. I would go with the H-techs if you have any concern about speed bumps, drive ways, or potholes.

Compared to what? There are some really bad roads and freeways here... especially on the 710 freeway on the way to the ports in Long Beach, the 18 wheelers tear it up so bad.

I haven't been to a lot of other states, but some are not as bad as ours...

Default These are H-Techs

omg, h-techs are horrible wheel gap...hmmm...I have to say: Depends on what you want. is your tc your autox car or do you want it to be your comfortable daily driver that can drive over snow and through pot holes (welcome to Colorado). Do you have the ground effects, or do you plan on throwing on a body kit? Having a slammed car isn't always the best scenario. I remember when I was younger, if it wasn't slammed, it sucked.

Get coilovers, then you don't have to worry about your ride height, you can raise it or lower it according to your taste.

By the time you spend the cash on springs and shocks, you spent the same amount that would've gotten you a set of coilovers.

exactly, unless they give you some springs for free like me, if not i would of went with Tein basic coil-overs.

I ordered my H-Techs but they won't come until the end of this month. I want the more aggressive look so I went with the H-Techs. If you want all around lowered I'd go with the S-Techs. Don't go with the TRDs you will barely notice the drop.

My H-techs are going on this Friday - along with a Greddy Strut Tower Bar.
