Default Shock assembly, left or right?

I'm having some issues, more like minor annoyances, and plan to switch my springs from the left side to the right. But I would be easier to just swap the entire shoock assembly instead of taking apart the springs again.
Can I do that? Are the shocks on the driver side the same as on the passenger side? Can I just switch them, or do I need to keep them on the same side?

im guessin you didnt install the springs yourself.

the front ones are side specific...the rear you can switch, just gotta make sure the bottom lines up with the top

I did install them myself. I just kept them on the same side and didn't really pay attention if they were different.
Thanks for the info. Just what I needed to know.
