of course they will work... the TRD's will work with any struts..

also, i think they will lower your car a lil more.. so keep that in mind

What do you mean they don't believe you?

Have you called Scion Customer Service?

the only way that they can deny to fix it, is if they can prove that its your springs that have caused the strut to blow, as so i have heard. but yeah your best bet would be to call scion cust. service.

Default blown strut

Is your car still under warranty??

my front driver side strut started leaking and I had toyota replace it with a brand new one since it's still under warranty.

sooooo go back to the dealer and have them check it and if its under warranty still..tell them to get u a new one.

i highly doubt it will be covered.. he has lowering springs that are not TRD.. so they can automatically blame it.. i know when mine blow what will be the cause, because they are compressed more than they should be, so im not gonna even try the warranty.. ill just upgrade to Koni's

Reason #1 they wont warrenty my car. Tein H-Techs. Reason # 2 ZPI Stage 1 turbo. the dealer will find a way not to warrenty it. But I dropped it off again this morning told them one more time LOOK AT THE STRUT! the dude wrote down everything but the sturt. if they dont look at it this time or get it right scion will be hearing for me and itll be coverd under warrenty. But yes I do have a warrenty 6yr/100,000 mile extended.

If they push down on that side of the car, does it spring back up and wobble up and down?

Are the struts even COVERED by the warranty? Like brakes and such, they're items that wear out...

Struts won't lower your car at all, only springs do that.

possibly the warranty on JUST the suspension if something happens and they can trace it back to the springs. otherwise you're golden

Usually if you contact your dealer - they will take care of something like this for you if they want future business. My dealer Rembrant @ Glendale knows how to work his magic. Only reason why most places don't warranty their strut is because the shaft was bent. Companies like tokico, koni, kyb expects their shocks to be used with lowering springs/sleeves. Good luck resolving the situation. FULL Coilover =D
