Default softest springs

just wondering if anyone makes a fairly soft spring for the tc that is geared towards a street/strip car for good weight distribution on your launch?

well, the OEM springs are probably the softest you can find for our car. most of the springs are geared for lowering the car and better handling. no for drag racing.

well i want a lower stance but all the springs have a really stiff spring rate for cornering and i was just looking for something a bit softer but i guess im just going with s-techs

can't beat s-techs for what? lowering your car to the point that you actually make your handling WORSE?

i don't think ride height is going to have a huge effect on your 1/4 mile times. better tires, stronger clutch, lsd, forced induction. that is where you want to go for better times.

yeah i was hoping for a spring that would rid the wheel hop from a hard launch and put the power on the ground i probably just need to break down and get some radials on my drag rims

springs dont really come into play for wheel hop i believe, at leats if it does, the difference will be tiny. the most you can do to get rid of them are get new motor mounts or just bolt on a etd.

yeah i was thinking about an edt, does it really make s difference though? Springs probably wont help that much now that i think about it. Im used to a RWD car where a drag spring will take a couple tenths off.

and the LSD will help a lot since both tires will get even power you will be able to tach the engine up higher and put more of the power to the ground
