In most circumastances a rear BBK is not needed but most people like them because they make the car look better.

The kit is desinged to work with stock rear brakes so if you add parts like calipers with larger pistons and some larger rotors you will add a lot of rear bias and the braking performance would be reduced. When you move a caliper further out on a larger rotor you are also increasing the leverage on the rotor and increasing brake toruqe which is bad if you already had ideal balance.
When we put a BBK on a car, we usually end up reducing caliper piston sizing because we are moving the caliper further out on a larger rotor. It seems counter intuitive but a properly desinged big brake kit will have close to or less overall brake torque than the stock parts. This ensures that the proper blalance is maintained and you get the best performance.
We never reccomned mixing and matching brake parts because unless you do a lot of long difficult equations or extensive track testing, you never really know what you are getting. It may look great behing your wheels, but if the final part doesnt work properly, you can end up spending a lot more on reapirs than the correct kit would have cost you in the 1st place.

Ok so UPS lost my order and I wont receive it in time to install the kit today. We are going to the track first thing tomorrow so I will just have to destroy my stock pads and rotors. Ill end up doing the install on Friday night or sometime Saturday. Needless to say I hate UPS to no end. This is the 4th time this year they have screwed me on delivering on time.

hmm... Then my next question is what else can I do to make my back rotors more showy? I know I can paint the calipers to match, but the rotors are ugly stock! I am going to go with a front BBK I just don't want the rear to look out of place on my car!
