Sway Bar HELP
#25
My only concern with going stiffer is some of the rougher streets I drive on here. On rougher surfaces, too stiff becomes detrimental to handling. I would have to drive one on a Hotchkis set to see.

Anyway, I have the TRD rear sway bar and I love it. I also got it for $119 on mcgeorge. Can't beat that price.

it's not sides really... unless your talking front or rear... for the front you definately need to jack up the car... the rear, i'm sure it's possible to not jack it up and do it... but that just makes it more difficult... especially to reach the bolts holding the bushings... and you should grease the bushings... definately.

Yeah, you would have to be pretty skinny and nearsighted to do it without jacking up Of course I am dropped on TRDs, so a little touher on mine, but still tough on stock springs.
I jacked it up and set it on jackstands, makes life much more easy. Working on a car is more enjoyable if you are in a comfortable position

use a lift to install your rear sway will take at the most 30 min if you dont know what your doing. you should use lithium grease on your bushings unless you want a metal on rubber sound comming from your rear. i installed my ST rear sway in 15 min but had to have the front installed because of the front sub assembly needing to be dropped. i have mine set on aggressive on the rear and she handles amazingly and im riding on trd springs. next up should be a set of strut bars from Greddy
