tein basics install
Hey guys im installing the tien basics with my dad right now and we cant figure out how to tighten the pisten rod that goes up into the interior of the car. There is really nothing to grab to be able to tighten that locknut on, is it a bad idea to put a regular nut on and then put locktight on it? thx for info/ comments
P.S I noticed the OEM spring had an alen key slot in the very top of it to be able to tighten.

try to get access to some air tools so you can properly tighten it. on mine, i think i just had my friend press down and we hand tightened it as much as possible...not the best way nor the tighetest, oh well

uhh, ok then how far do i tighten the top locknut on? all the way? and my prob is not really tightening the lock nut (i have an air gun) but that the pisten rod that i am trying to tighten it on to is spinning and not alowing me to get the lock not tighter then it currently is, only 4 threads

What do you mean? I assembled it exactly how they have it in the little manual part by part. What is the top hat? what did i miss? I am looking at my assembly diagram right now on both the front and back shocks and there is absolutely nothing about a top hat. I am gonna tighten everything up tonight so please responce quickly about this tophat thing
