Default Tein EDFC - worth it?

I was looking into getting the Tein Coilovers soon, and wondering if the EDFC is worth getting. Can you just change the damping force from the controller, or is height adjustable also. I know nothing about coilovers...how do I control how high my car sits off the ground?

The only thing the EDFC gives you is the ability to remotely adjust your dampening. Height is not remotely adjustable. Unless you have switches

there are threads on the coilover body you have to jack the car up and then move the lower spring perch up or down then lock the spring perch into place with special wrenches that are included in the kit. and imo i don't think it is worth it to have edfc when all you have to do is jump out and turn a ****. i had the tein superstreets and i kept them on soft all the time cause the ride sucks for daily driver if its on hard. i just got progress ( cause the spring rate is softer) and when i install them i will post my thoughts on them. right now i have a broken leg though.

if your buying the ss-p anyway i'd get the edfc so that you dont haveto tear out your rear panels to adjust the coilovers, but the fronts are easy to change. Come on, it's just $300 dollars extra.

ask yourself this...

do you ever drive down the highway and come across a rougher patch of road? would you like to press a button and make it smoother?
how about if you were driving with it all soft and comfortable...then somebody wants to 'see what you've got'.

would you like to press another button and have a very sporty ride.

thats what EDFC can do for you.

as for getting out and turning a ****...can you do it while driving down the road???
that is the advantage of the EDFC...

as for height adjustable, they only have one setup that does that too, but it is not avail for our rides...
