Tein H-techs, Progress or Road Magnet springs?
JUst wanted to get some opinions on these springs. Ive narrowed it down to the Tein H-techs, Progress and Road Magnets. I have a 05 RS 1.0 with stock 18 enkies and want a good clean drop with no wheel tucking. Ive seen pics of all three and IMO i think the Road magnets give the best looking drop out of any springs ive seen i just dont know much about them. Stechs are out of the question because ive seen how slammed some peoples Tcs get with those. The Htechs look pretty good as do the progress but im not quite sure. Right now im leaning toward to road magnets. What do you guys think?

h techs are not uneven im on them now.....i bought them cause it gives the front a 1.9 drop and the back 1.5 inch drop..i personally like the front little lower then the back..but this is a small gap in the back with the stock tires on with the h techs but your planning on doing 18's which will give it a nice stance all the way around

i'm on h-techs. and love them..
i don't have to worry about the road... but at the same time it gives a little bit of a agreesive stance... i said a little..
08_scion_tc is about to mount his 18 enkies and he is dropped on h-tech's..i'll be sure to get him to post pics...

Like I said, H Techs are uneven. The front is noticeable lower than the back.

Thanks everybody. It seems like the popular choice is the h-techs. I agree they look good but i like an even drop on both front and back.
TheO1cav, YOur pics make me want to get the road magnets. That is the most perfect drop ive seen and exactly what im looking for. Are road magnets generics? Thats the only thing that has me concerned with them is that i havent heard or seen many pics of them but when i do they look good.

They're a decent spring, not a generic. They develop and test each car and design a spring for that make and model. They are nice, but if you're looking for a spring thats more designed for handling this isn't the spring for you. This is more of a looks and ride quality drop type spring.

Yea im really not looking for great handling. Mostly just for looks. I hate driving a non-dropped whip. I drive on some pretty bad roads and have to go on some bad driveways so i dont want anything that will make me bottom out easily. I also live in PA and the winters can be bad. Do you have any issues with bottoming out on the road magnets?
Jon, I like the hotchkis but they are a little lower than im looking to go.

No bottoming out issues, and delaware roads are becoming far from anything nice. They're deff a decent spring thats for sure. I havent had a chance to drive it in the snow yet, but every lowered car I have driven in the snow has handled it the same as stock ride height.
