if you dont wanna scrape and just want to be safe and still have your car look good, go with h-techs, thats what i did and i am completely happy with them

I have s-techs with stock wheels/tires(no lip kit either), and the only time I need to go up at an angle is when im going up/down a steep driveway. Speedbumps are no problem for me

I love my s-tech, they give my car a very nice look

depends. I had s-tech on the corolla (which is about 3" all around), and the ride got annoying without any upgrades to the shocks and struts. I don't know what the drop is on the tc.

If you want all around comfort, the h-techs are the way to go.

I went with s techs. No problems scraping with a stock body. I was afraid of scraping all kinds of things like on driveways and speedbumps but I haven't had any such problems.

Then again, TunedtC has a point with the coilovers :D

yeah he does, if you can afford them. Coilovers are the best, just a bit pricy for most people

H techs FTW! I have stock wheels and I love the drop. Its noticeable and the ride is comfortable on stock struts.

Coilovers will happen sometime in the future, but definitely not for the financially challenged. The s techs will hold me over until I can save a bit more (barring anymore tC purchases). I've yet to get pics of my car with the drop. I'll see if I can find my digital cam.
