a lift and air tools worked fine for me
you need to raise the front end anyway
and get a good spring compressor, you don't wanna die

the rear is the easiest
unbolt shocks and lift vehicle, springs fall out

are you talking about the plastic trim by the wipers? I didn't take out the whole thing. If I remember right, there are 3 clips on each side..2 of them can pop off and there's 1 inside the rubber trip piece..just loosen the plastic trim enough to get to the upper bolts

haha, the fronts took me like 20 mins, the rears...dant dant DA...they'll take you awhile. Let me get home tonight and I'll post a pic of how to align the rear lower strut hole with the upper bolt so you dont have to try to turn the springs while uncompressed on the perch while trying to install.

Okay, this will help. When doing the rears there is a way you need to align the opening for the bottom strut bolt when the spring isnt compressed (didnt want to say 'spring is sprung'). Anyway here is a pic that should help. Just align the opening of the bottom of the strut (I put the bolt sticking out so you could see it) and it aligns with the upper bolt that is farthest inward to the car (toward the trunk)

In this pic it looks like the outside bolt, but this is for the Right Rear strut, so imagine turning the picture around 180 degrees

The S-Techs are a big drop, here's a shot of the difference (there is nearly no pressure on the perch before installation.)

Oh, and USE a spring compressor, it could save your life or prevent a hole in the side of your car if you can aim ;)

Pop the cover on the wiper where it connects to the wiper motor and take the nut off so you can take the wiper out.
Next is the black plastic cover, there are small round clips that hold it in place. Just push the center with a nail or something pointy and you should be able to pull out the clip.
It works kinda like a rivet or a wall anchor. If you push the center in, the bulge on the backside dissapears so you can just grab the edge with your fingernails then pull 'til it comes out.
