Default Tein question???

I had the H-techs and after some time the shock need it to be replace, I decided to get the Tein coilovers, I have to said the front feels good but the back is not, It feels to soft even at the hardest setting. If anyone having this problem or it just me? I’m about to go back to the stock shocks and Eibch springs.
I wander if I can replace the springs from the tein for a harder one but I will probably need to replace the shock as well.
Hhmmm don’t know what to do at this point, any advice?

If you shelled out for coilovers but don't like them... why not get the TRD (or Koni) shocks with HTechs (or other springs)?

Yea, you are probably right, Koni shocks and Eibach spring sound good for the back. Is the only combination I can think for now that sounds good.

what setting do you have on the back?? also are you sure everything has been torqued down solid. you could either be at a bad setting or have something loose in the suspension. so you also have any sway or strut bars in the rear. that should also help make that back end stiffen up.

keep us posted because im local in miami also. so if you need any help LMK

I have the ss-p set up at the hardest position and the car was not lowered from the position it came from factory. Do you think tein made a mistake and put the wrong springs? I don’t know, but what I know is that the car is very soft on the back, to the pint that I’m considering changing them.

I know, that is why I think there is something wrong with my kit. is too soft, I can actually press on the trunk up and down like nothing. The front is a different story.
Don’t know what to do unless Tein has change the configuration,, I don’t think so.

thats thong only real thing i think it could be. either the adjustments on the shock for stiffness are off or they came broken to you or the spring is to soft. i would try to contact the person you bought the SS-P's from or calling tien.

Something must be broke.......i am at 6 and 6 (on the shocks not the edfc) and my suspension is way stiff. Take one of your rear coil overs to a suspension shop and find out how stiff the spring is in pounds. Then compare that number to tein's website. If that number checks out you may need a stiffer sway bar. That makes a huge difference in how the rear feel going side to side. If it feels like the car is leaning in the rear more than the front when you are in the corner invest in a new rear sway.
