dude the factory setting is the zero setting i think you are confused when you adjust it you are counting the click's when you go counter clock wise. that is the way the edfc work's so 16 click's counter clock wise would be softer not stiffer. there is no need for the cap's just get your fact's straight. also i installed these myself and i read the whole manual

this is what is dude.. the shocks are set at 16.. standard value is 10 clicks back.. that means that stock is 6. 10 up and 6 down, the actual factory setting is 6. and your right 16 clicks counter clockwise is softer, and the dampeners come at the stiffest setting all the way to the right which is 16.

there is even a diagram that shows that if you turn to the right is hard and to the left is soft. and since the shocks come with the **** turned all the way clockwise which is right.. that means its hard.

Sorry, read this and thought of someone...so I have to say:
"That's what she said."
Now that that's done:

Topic: WRONG
Now unless Tein's japenglish way of thinking is at fault here, I don't think they would want to confuse we silly American's into believing what is right, is what is wrong.
Yeah, sometimes I'm like that
Anyway, I like to drive at the stiffest setting: 0-front 6-back. (I Feel this helps to even the car out a bit from understeer)
I don't have any other suspension mods & ride on Kumho Ecsta 225/40/19...I don't get wheelspin anymore...then again, that might be b/c of these heavy ___ wheels :\

it actually shows that we are both right..
if you have the EDFC then the values that you show are right.. if you dont have the EDFC like me then i am right.. i turn mine by hand. So lets not confuse other people
EDFC = 0 hardest, 16 softest
BY HAND = 16 hardest, 0 Softest

the stiff setting witch is full clockwise is the zero setting these do not have a stopper to let you know when you have reached softest setting so if you start with the 0 setting than count backward's than 16 would be softest this should be pretty easy to under stand why would they set it so that the edfc was run backward's from the manuel setting that should just be common sence but some times when thing's are translated from another country they could do a better job at prof reading.
