Default tein spring ??

what's up guys...

I purchased injen CAI on ebay, but there was a screw up with the order and they have not shipped the item as yet (14 days after payment).

So, seller proposed me that they will sell tein spring (stech) for $105.00 (normally 210.00 on homepage).
I didn't think about the lowering job. but, it is good price...isn't it??

1)Is tein spring good compare to other brand for performance and looking...??

2)also, htech and stech, which one is better?? price difference is about 10 bucks..

3)Is it easy to DIY?? and what kinda tools I need???

4)Also , I visited tein website. there are warning for counterfeit spring from ebay seller. I am little bit afraid to be victim of worst scenario.

I just wanted change intake and exhuast, but now I have another option...
Also, lately I'm addicted to DIY......

so, please reply this post....give me a piece of advice, dude.....!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Yes, Tein focuses on Suspension. Thats pretty much all I can say about it. You won't be dissappointed. Heck, im a satisfied customer =)

2) Its all personal preference. S-techs are Lower than H-techs. S-techs give you a 2.5 - 2 inch drop as the H-techs give you a 2 - 1.5 inch drop. Personally i went H-techs and i am very happy with my decision. Many Tc members here mostly go S-techs though. If you did a search on S-techs here you'll see alot of results and pictures from members on the board.

3) Well if you've never had experience on working on a car then it will be pretty difficult. I used this guide http://www.hotchkistuning.com/bin/in...ions/19425.pdf from Hotchkis when i Installed my springs and it was really helpful. I would recommend you use that and save it as one of your favorites.

4) I would say have Ebay be your last resort when your looking for Tein springs. I THINK the only counterfeit springs they have are the S-techs. Havent heard anything about H-techs. Plus if someone screws you over on Ebay im pretty sure theyre not going to refund your money. So try going to a local dealer where they sell Tein suspension there.

Hope this helped =)
