Default Tein Suspension

I'm looking into possibly lowering my car but I'm concerned about the winters here. My tC is my daily driver all year round and he have some crazy winters in New England. I want to drop it however I'm concerned that if I drop it too much i'll have problems with snow and junk. My cousin said that Tein makes a kit that you can adjust the height on the fly I looked online and found a few of em.

I'll be willing to spend the money for them just as long as I can easily adjust the ride height. Anyone have any experience with this kind of suspension and how to adjust it? Good bad let me hear it I would like to know. I'd like to change it over to stock height for winter and drop it for the summer.

-thanks

If I'm not mistaken, when you install the ssp's, it already drops your car 1.4 from the beginning with a drop of up to 2.7 if that's what you want. If you are looking for ride adjustability due to weather conditions, its gonna be a bit of a pain in the ___ with coilovers. The adjustability on the setup was designed for getting a perfectly compliant ride for the style and drop you are doing, not for purely ground clearance. Just get trd springs or something with a mild drop and it will be nice in the summer and not too harsh in the winter... I dunno, just a thought...

I think if all you are looking for is ride height adjustability, you may want to consider bags.

You can only adjust ride quality/stiffness from inside the car with TEIN coilovers, not ride height. If winter is a problem I wouldn't waste money on coilovers, and I wouldn't go any lower than the TRD drop (-1.25").

Seriously, don't waste over a thousand dollars just for an adjustable drop for the sake of adjustability...
