you don't NEED to...but i suggest it so they get better response from their suspension and so double labor isnt required

i own both sets of springs, i love the TRDs cuz they ride smooth, but the front of the car sits up higher than the back and it looks funny, no rub on 19's.................

the s-techs look sicc a little lower in the front and my 19's rub when i hit big dips, or if i have 4 people in my car they rub on little bumps and dips............and the ride is a little bit stiff.........these are really low

Since I am daily commuter and I like the stock look. I go with TRD. Expensive as hell but better quality. My theory is TRD tests every part they offer before it goes on the market so really Toyota is okaying them for our everyday tCs.

I just picked my struts up few minutes ago...they charged me extra 170.00 than the estimate I got from Sparks Toyota without their discount. I hope few people I know; knows people who can install both Lowering Springs and Struts cause I know the dealer is going to hammer me with huge installation charge.

^^^I would go that low but our Winters here can be loaded with snow. That's one major factor with me lowering in the first place. Hell I'm still worried about TRD 1.25 inch drop with snow but I've been told on here there's no problems. So I'm taking that chance.

ya ^^^ thats another reason i wont go s techs, that and the roads around here suck. that is why i am saving for the h techs and new struts and shocks i have decided (cuz that will be about $1000 on top of install

well i know there's a group buy on h tech's for 140, not sure how much struts and shocks are as i can't find em cheap, and mean the $1000 would probably be with the install.
