Default For Those Who Have TEIN Coil-Overs I Need Help!

I was wondering how the handling, ride quality and overall quality of the TEIN SS Coilovers is? If anybody that has them could give me some feedback or a review that would be great because I am seriously thinking about buying them along with the Pillow mounts. The handling of the TC even with the lowering springs and sway bar just plain sucks!

i have the basics and i love them. from what i heard the basics are set to the evuivalent of the middle SS setting (12 of 24 i believe). the ride is great - firm but not uncomfortable.

i have basics too and they're a great mix of streetability and stiffness. it does get really bouncy at moderate speeds and bad roads. it handles a lot better than stock as well.

its a good compromise. i would have gotten the SS but i dont think i will adjust the dampening force as much or auto x it as much. if you dont do these two often, then the ss is pretty much a waste of money

Remembers... With TEIN's you can always custom tune your spring rates too!!

You can buy new front springs and rear springs with differeng spring rates to fit your needs...

If you feel your ride is too bouncy some times, get a -1kg lighter spring in the rear...

I think there are a couple posts in the Sponsored Sales section for Teins.

I got my Basics from a local performance shop here in WA (World One Performance) because they ended up beating the cheapest online price I could find.

Whats cool about coilovers is that you can make them ride as good as stock and have the car lowered at the same time. Mine are set to 8 in the front and 6 in the back. It is roughter then stock and rougher what Tein recommends (10 in front 10 in the back). I am loving the ride and adjustability. I can't comment on coilover performance alone though. I installed them together with Hotchkis sway bars and DC strut bar though.

Get the Hotchkis sway bar set. It is amazing! My tC handles sooo much better now, and that's the only suspension work I've done so far.

Keith- that's exactly how I feel and that's why I will also be going with the Tein SS-P setup.

_Keith_ Teins web site says that the tC doesn't have enough room form the EDFC, is that true?

The EDFC would be a tight fit, may work out with the pillow ball top mounts which I have on my car, I am thinking of getting the EDFC, really do not need them for the street or autocross but on a road race track they would be wonderfull to have

I know it will be a close call if they fit or not.
