TRD Coilovers- Worth It????
#43
I am new to this forum & this is my first Reply so be easy on me. okay here we go.
I find when it comes to coilovers the big difference you will notice is not the brand.(although I tend to side with KW & D2) But, the design. twin-tube dampers cater more towards mass production, are easier to adjust. And, tend to be cheaper. both in price & quality. as a pose to a mono-tube design where you will get a better reaction to viscosity & precision due to the nitrogen chamber & simple single piston design that produces less friction. You also pay more for a mono-tube design, And thats the only fault.

My TRD coilovers are still very smooth. I have full shock travel and they're all the way down. Because the spring rates are a bit soft they can be pretty bouncy on those hated roads. But otherwise they are great. And super easy to adjust with the single locking perch.
With that being said, I'm going to be selling mine soon so if anyone is interested, let me know.
