TRD lowering springs...
i know there is probally 1425 posts of this... just hang with me please... if i get trd lowering springs will it make my ride bouncy with my stock struts? and would u recomend them over the oem springs? i have tork revo 18s and i think my ride (09 crimson tc) would look alot cleaner and sleeker with a TRD drop on it.

Springs
no, as far as i know the springs wouldnt make it a bumpy ride, granted you'll feel more bumps maybe but its not going to bother you. they work fine with the stock struts from what ive heard, havent done it myself though. As far as looks? id say anything would look better then the stock springs, it would give your car a great look with those wheels, cant go wrong with lowering look more aggressive and feel it too.

"Will it make my ride bouncy with stock struts" -- No. It's not bouncy, but the increase in stiffness is noticeable over bumps, through turns, and when you're carrying extra weight. Overall, it's still very pleasant.
"Would you recommend them over OEM" - TRD, yes... others, probably not. The thing is, with every modification, comes sacrifices. Nothing is free... you always trade either comfort, noise, gas mileage, reliability, or something else to get extra power, handling, etc. The TRD offers incredible bang-for-buck, making it stiff enough to be IDEAL for autocross, but tolerable for daily driving.
And BTW --
TRD springs + 18"s = steaksaus
To quote Men's warehouse... you'll love the way you look, I guarantee it.

Like i posted in your other thread, It depends how they settle. It appears when you put TRD struts with the TRD Springs they settle just right and look good but this may just be false. I have 1 friend who has both trd struts and springs and it looks good. about 1 finger gap all around. My sister opted to keep her stock struts and has about 2.5 finger gap in the front and 2 in the rear...So yea the settling appears to vary but may just be random. look around the site, you will see that trd springs have various settling points...I didn't want to chance it so i just got coilovers. If I were getting the springs I would do both the trd struts and springs to get a better ride.

i have trd springs with stock struts. Its actually more stiffer because the springs create a stiffer feel. I recommended you go with trd struts as well or something else for the struts. Though i been riding with mine for a while and their perfectly fine. If you really want tho you should try to invest in coilovers

I think the trd is the best compromise for dd and performance. the ride is noticeably rougher....I dont mean it as its increadibly harsh, but you will notice it, as with any aftermarket springs. I have a sway bar too, so my ride would be slightly more rough than yours would be without it.
Also, the thing thats bad about the trd springs is that they tend to sag in the rear (lower settled height there than in front). and also, i must have gotten lemons, because none of my springs settled at the same height. my rear finger gaps are 1 and about .75. while my fronts are 2 and about 2.5 fingers. I dont really mind it becuase its not noticeable unless you know the gaps are different sizes.
