im seeing alot of these questions being asked, were here to help you,but please use the search botton,it can be your best friend....
to answer your question like DJ08tc said no you dont need it,just and alignment after the springs have settled

To further that "no" you would not need it unless you do S-techs or coils that go lower. Its kind of unnecessary for TRD's or similar, it's just a safety net. When you go a lot lower then it becomes a risk, in which case the kits become a necessity to prolong the life of your setup.
