trd lowering springs
i want a reasonable amount of drop to minimize the wheel gap so i priced the trd springs with a dealer install in so cal., to protect the warranty. the spring price difference was not much; about twenty bucks across dealers but install differed a lot. from $410 to $1200 just for install. (in honesty one dealer quoted $1200 and when i laughed they said "wait let me check....okay scion owners get a break. it'll be about $600") still, $600 to install springs?
jeez, autobacs will install tein basic at around $800 inclusive. the labor was about $180
decision made.

Maybe you forgot what you stated about TRDs. I was just letting you know that they will not install TRDs bought from somewhere else.
who won't?.... ya lost me. you mean autobacs? never occurred to me to ask them to install a trd product.
