TRD Lowering Springs question
#21
some dealers do, others don't. Depends on the dealer. I wouldn't get it installed at the dealer. They'll just rape you pricewise. Get them installed somewhere else. I had a guy (Munch) install mine right in the street outside his house for 125.
Best thing to do is, save yourself some money, get a torch and some friends. Have your friends sit in your car as you heat up the springs

I did with my dealer....450 w/o alignment Thought they f-ed up on the alignment; took it back within two hours with my big brother. The service writer took it on a test drive with me. He explained everything about the car and also pointed out that it grips better than most 25k or more cars; he has driven before.
My cousin wanted to install my S&Ss but after I heard struts were dead. I kind of felt I had to install them. Didn't want to kill my new tires that I bought back in late Nov. It was pointless to install the struts with OEM springs then this summer change out the springs and to buy new OEM struts if service caught it. So I took some advice on here and install them both at the same time.
Now my cousin wants to install me Nos and racing seats...Said "no" on Nos but will take up offer on racing seats. Add in CF hood, camber links.

Is it me or does the car air flow makes it more quicker? I'm noticing I accelerate better since it's lower to the ground. Or maybe I'm not use to driving 60 in 55 zone because of all the snow storms we're forced to drive very slow?
