The trd rear sway bar does make a difference, I have installed them in tCs with springs and with out. It does make a difference, and at that price I would jump on it now. :D

To be honest, I didn't feel any difference with the sway bar alone. Springs on the other hand made a lot of difference.

The TRD rear sway bar will make a difference especially if you lower it too. Hotchkis makes the Sway Bar Set for the tC and we will have them in stock the first of next week. That's one alternative if you aren't set on the TRD Rear Sway. Our TRd sway is also $135.00 and we do have those in stock as well.

do you have it on street or race? street won't make that much of a difference. I'm hoping you weren't looking for it to 'stiffen the ride' or something...

won't stiffening up the springs take movement away from the sway bar? in other words, you are probably feeling the springs more so than the sway bar if used in conjunction. and it depends on what 'difference' you are talking about too...

The TRD rear sway is a very simple install. Shouldnt take more than like 30 mins even if you are real slow...

is the install as simple as jack up car and just bolt on? or do you have to drill or line it up with things? and if i order from sparks does it come with instructions?

All you do is jack up the car and unbolt the stock sway and replace it with the TRD one. No cuttin/drilling or anything like that. Mine had instructions in the box with the bar, but it is a straightforward bolt on. Easy as pie...

the only reservation i have with the hotchkis swaybar is the % over the stock.. the TRD swaybar in street mode is suppose to be like 30% and the track setting is suppose to be like 60% stiffer over stock... the hotchkis has three settings and they go something like 200+%, 400+%, and 600+%.... over stock.. don't quote me on the hotchkis percentages but they are some really high numbers..

on my present car i have a swaybar that is close to 200% over what the factory swaybar was... and while it may corner like it is on rails... the ride sucks.. yes... the swaybar does affect the ride..as in bumps and potholes.. if you go over say a speedbump.. they there is no difference in ride.. but let the suspension have to work and you will feel it.. in my opinion.. unless your going to do a road atlanta or sebring.. there really is no reason to have such a stiff bar .... a lowered car with the trd sway should give you a good balance..

i've had the best experience with ebay, all the parts have always been there unlike ordering from online stores.. and ebay people actually have the items in stock and the turn around time is usually 24hours, vs some places that took weeks... because they lied.
