do you have it on street or race? street won't make that much of a difference. I'm hoping you weren't looking for it to 'stiffen the ride' or something...

won't stiffening up the springs take movement away from the sway bar? in other words, you are probably feeling the springs more so than the sway bar if used in conjunction. and it depends on what 'difference' you are talking about too...
I have it on race mode (the inner hole).

you shouldn't feel it too much except when the sides of the car are going in opposite directions from each other. i know street doesn't feel any difference at all...that's what mine is set to. maybe you have to go hotchkis?

Ok I am kinda new at this and just got my TC not to long ago , like a few days ago <G> . One thing I noticed about the car was in cornering the front likes to go where it wants to . But I noticed the rear end likes to lean into the corners like its on a delay from the front end . Yeah I am a Newbee when it comes to terms in this catagory . I have thought about the TRD sway bar kit , only cuz I figured it might correct this somewhat . I know springs would fix this issue but since I just got it I am more open to putting a sway bar in then taking springs and struts out . Would the TRD bar or Hot . kit atleast tone down how the rear end reacts in corners ?

in stock form the tC has moderate body roll, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. if you don't like it then sway bars will lessen it. if the front bothers you then only hotchkis makes a front bar afaik. and the front is kind of a pita to change if you diy.

the hotchkis rear bar is kinda extreme by itself, you will GUARANTEED go on rides if you just put that bugger in. having said that (i feel like paula) i don't think they sell it separately so maybe you can test drive a car with the trd and see if it suits your needs...if you can find one ;P

You can get the Progress rear bar. It's 22 mm, although I'm not sure how stiff it is over stock.

drive in an empty road, go at a good slow speed but not really slow (about 20 - 25 mph) then move ur car left to right with the steering wheel. not that much just a little. and tell me if u feel ur car tilting a little. to eliminate that, sway bars remove body roll which is good for better handling and turns. i ordered my hotchkis sways but our installation failed. the screws were torqued in too much .

You do it yourself. If you don't have a jack, just buy some ramps that you drive onto. Get those at Advance autoparts or some store like that.

Always install something easy like a sway bar yourself, you'll end up saving a ton of $$.

B1uEsC1uEs:
your install failed b/c the bolts from the stock bar were torqued too tightly and couldn't get them off, or was it because you torqued the bolts on the new bar too much?

i'm assuming it's the former, but i'm just curious...
