It all depends on the roads in your area. I have s-techs on my car and the roads here arent the best. I do a lot of scraping and you can look on the bottom of my front lip and tell. I dont think TRD's are low enough but thats my opinion. Just search around and see what you like.

you wont loose your warranty because you installed springs, or rims or an exhaust, ect.... It will be voided if you take you tC in for service because your having engine problems and the intake that you installed caused the problem. read more here...

trd springs are only about a 1.25 inch drop. is that low enough?it is for me. the springs combined with the struts are one of the best suspension upgrades you can make for handling. anything lower than the trd springs is for looks at the expense of handling.

also, this doesn't effect your warranty unless you have a problem with your suspension directly related to these springs. the rest of your warranty will be fine.

You will still have a lot of wheel gap with trd springs. So go lower so you can "luk raw."

i would just do springs.

go to the vendor section here and look for lastlookcustoms, they have great prices on springs.

oh and i have h-techs, they are great, but they are just for now until i do coilovers and then ill be dumped ahaha

honestly ive had trds on my car for about 9 months now and im thinking about switching to stechs or hotchkis. trds provide a great ride and a nice drop but imo they leave too much of a gap for me. I have about 3 fingers in the front and 2 in the back with 18's.

heres some examples of how the drop will look. i had trd's for 1 year i got rid of them and changed to stechs which i am very happy with.

the rim size is 18x7.5 and the tires in front are 225/40/18
and the rear are 235/40/18

Heres the pic of the front

Heres the rear

and heres a full pic

i went for H Techs. i rode around for about a year on TRD and they are great and everything but the more and more i looked at it. the more i wanted to lower it cuz the wheel gap was too big. and i have 18s so now i'm on H Techs and i'm not regretting it at all. i barely fit 2 fingers in the back and about 1 1/2 in the front.

i didn't wanna go S Techs cuz i knew that at some point i'm going to have a full car and i'll be bottoming out.
