H techs have a nice drop...not too low or too high. I had hotchkis and still thought it wasn't low enough so I went with coilovers, I love the stance now :D

It all depends on what you want. If you dont care much at all about handling (and possibly making it handle worse than stock) and just want it slammed.. then I guess you could consider htechs or stechs. If you care about handling more then those are about the worst choice of springs and drops for this car.

So it depends on if your priority is looks or performance.

Just think of all the places you drive now and all the places you could be driving in the future and take in to account how often you will bottom out when you are lower.

I'm on S techs now, and couldn't be happier. I've only had them on for a couple days, and haven't scraped or bottomed out once. My roads aren't to bad here, and if yours aren't, go low.

also, this doesn't effect your warranty unless you have a problem with your suspension directly related to these springs. the rest of your warranty will be fine.
couldnt have said it better

From personal experience, I hope you never need to use a uhaul trailer to move your car. I have TRD and my bumper had to pop over part of the trailer by about a half inch. Any lower and you can bet the front bumper is coming off when you back off.

After driving for over 2 years on TRDs, I refuse to go lower. I have scraped my bumper on curbs, driveways, bumps in the road going speed limit and just barely fitting 18"s without rubbing. It is also the perfect height to hit raccoons at 45mph and having them live from bouncing off the bumper instead of going under.

I love my TRDs gives me enough of a drop to close up some of the gap but I also don't have to worry as much about scraping. I wouldn't be able to make it around school if I was any lower. It is just all what you want. Everybody is going to have different opinions on what looks best and what spring or coilover is better.

TRDs are a decent drop and give the optimal amount of performance for handling. I feel that the front just isn't low enough. I had them last summer and my front still had to much finger gap. Im putting on JIC coils for this summer to eliminate the gap but without slamming it and loosing all performance. You could always get coils and do them the right way by corner balancing it...if you have the time, money and equipment.

I live in Chicago, and there are MAD Potholes around, I've been going back and forth in my mind between TRD's and H-Techs.. Leaning a bit more toward the Teins.

i had TRD's and i must say they were great. car handled really good with them. i just recently switched to HR sport springs. 1.4 F 1.3 R. just a tad lower than TRD. for me, that made the difference and im very content. i still havent put them to the test as they are still settleling in.

Can wait to get my TRDs in, they are just sitting in my car (the trunk!).

I was considering h techs, but I didnt wanna deal with the slowing down for bumps and shiz.
