It's pretty noticable. Springs will help too.

yeah it helps around turns, and you would notice the most difference if you were to do auto x

You'd notice more of a difference with springs than struts, and it'd definitely be worth the cost to get the TRD springs to go along with the struts. Neither of them will do very much for body roll (springs help a little, due to stiffness and lowered center of gravity), look into the TRD or other makers of swaybars (or anti-roll bars, as some people use the terms interchangeably) to address that concern.

handling improvement with trd shocks + h-techs = yes
bouncy as hell = yes
wheel alignment way off = yes
money well spent + easy to do = NO

all in all.... PITA

i checked my bolts and the top bolt on the strut tower was a lil loose. so i tightened the crap outta both bolts on the two front towers and now its muuuuch better, it cleared up the BOUNCINESS

PRO = eats up bumps, very stiff, lowers ur front, more responsive steering...
CON = expect some bounces but nothing too crazy (u get to bop ur head to w/e music ur listening to :D)

"what else is wrong with them???"

nothing much, i guess the loose bolts were bugging the car out

but why is it that the front TRD shocks are smaller than the stock ones, but the rear TRD shocks are the same height as the stock ones?

so with the TRD shocks ur front lowers a lil more than ur rear...

all in all, PITA

BUT, its a pleausre and pain kinda thing...
like eating a spicy burrito but having to have a spicy diarreha the next day

overall score : 8 outta 10
