its a pretty good upgrade not the best but good. i would suggest getting the hotchkiss or TRD. and if you go TRD please use the hardest setting ( inside hole) and not the outter one. its the best bang for your buck upgrade that you will actually feel.

you just need the rear.. anything is better than stock..

doesn't matter if you're not tracking or auto-x.

Huge difference with the TRD rear sway.

Yep, TRD makes a big difference on race setting and still leaves enough independence in the suspension to handle bumpy roads ok.

If you get a much stiffer rear (like hotchkis) you should really replace he front along with it to keep it balanced out.

Its strange but after installing my TRD sway bar you get so used to it, you feel like thats always how its been. Even when I install my ingalls strut brace......you can really feel the difference at first but after about two weeks you get so used to it that you begin to wonder what it was like without it. I'm sure if I took both out and brought it back to stock it would jog my memory, but even with both those options on, my car still rides fine on bumpy roads.

I'm looking at getting the TRD bar as well. I found it for 149$ on toyata sparks. I am not sure what the dealer would want if I walked in and asked the parts department. It would take all of 20-30 minutes to install anyways. The rear one is so easy. I have truck ramps I back my car on to and have about 1.5 feet of clearance to slide under the car. Let me know of any sites selling for cheaper.

I definitely noticed a difference when I got the TRD rear sway. I also got it for $119, that's a great price.

GREAT idea with the secret weapon SRI. I have had one for a while now and can honestly say its the best upgrade i have next to my flywheel, just make sure to do a ram air setup with it, trust me you'll feel a HUGE diference. But anyway what EXACTLY does the rear sway bar do? I wanted one because they look pretty sick when im behind someone that has them but i don't know the real performance gains. Does it do the same as a strut tower bar or something totally different? Any help is appreciated.

No, but they both work together to help traction. Sway bars prevent body roll and Strut bars make the chassis rigid and prevent it from torquing on turns.

Your chassis actually cork screws a bit without strut bars, and tilts left and right without sway bars.

The short ram is what i'm going to get. I found it for 202$. Do you have the cold air box for it? I wanted to get that later too.

No i don't have the cold air box, I don't know if i believe in those things yet, it seems to me like they would just restrict airflow, but if you get one let me know how it works, i could be totally wrong. And the short ram is it a "secret weapon"? If so thats a great price, mine was 230 and that was like a miracle price when i bought mine

Thanks for the advice, i might try to find a cheap one and see how i like it, it seems like everyone else here likes them so for 150 ish, thats not too bad, and like i said, i really just like the way they look.
