If you wait there will be a new performance tC air ride suspension coming out..... more than the coil overs but in car height adjustment.

performance and air ride should never be used in the same sentence.

If you build the strut valving right it can perform just as well as any other suspension out there only thing that would handle better would be coil overs that are race inspired and dropped as low as can be.

you seem to be terribly mis-informed when it comes to suspension.
airbags handle like isht.
and slamming cars is not good for handling, its worse.

Actually I am an automotive engineer and do consulting for a suspension company. I am not talking firestone air bags like on an old S-10 pick up I am talking a sleeve bag on a strut much like a coil spring on a strut for coil overs.

But hey too each his own.

well i was more reffering to you claiming that dropping a car as low as it can be will positively affect performance.

its been proven that it doesnt.
and i can also tell you first hand that it doesnt.

did not really mean as low as it goes.......just a nice low stance keeping suspension travel.

i think there's a little misinformation regarding the TRD's....they are the same as the progress CS1 and therefore have the same drop...

Each picture is of that part of the car dumped and the other side not dumped. These are photos from the R&D work on a new air ride kit for the tC. So that is why they are at an angle.
