Default Is walmart good to install tires??

I bought the set of tires from online.

and I need to install it....I searched several places. (pepboy, big10 tires, discount tires.....etc)

they charge me at least 20~25 bucks per tire ....just install it...there is no lifetime balance and rotate option...

so I went to walmart which is my favorite shopping center....
they charge me 11.00 plus tax per tire. also it includes the lifetime balance and
rotate option...

I think that is very reasonable price...but...is it okay to install tire in walmart???

I buy engine oil and miscellaness in there...I want to know your experience or
get some advise and recommendation...

the only thing is just make sure they dont scratch your rims when they put tires on em, this happened to me at a ____ ___ auto place.

Walmart is good for buying bathroom supplies like toothpaste and papertowels......but i would never ever ever consider even letting them touch my car, or any part of it.
Price means nothing when they damage your rim or your car. take it to a reputable tire shop.

I barely trust wal-mart employees to develope my film.

That does sound like a good deal, but you're definately rolling the dice with your car. I'd pony up the dough and take it to a real shop. You've already paid all that money for rims and tires, might as well spend a little more to make sure it's done right.

Protect your investment!

I am an Assistant Manager at a Wal*Mart in Ny. Formerly a TLE (Tire Lube & Express) Manager. I will give it to you straight...

I do and will bring my car in for service. I would recommend the services they provide to every friend and family member I have. The price can NOT be beat, life time wheel balance and rotation is the best bang for your buck you can find. BUT...

Now for all the bad stuff. Yes, they may damage your car; but so may your dealer. Most techs at Wal-Mart do make a high hourly rate which in many people's opinions leads to careless attitudes and mistakes. 7 years of Wal-Mart experince tells me different. Most techs do care but mistake do happen. There are many stores in my market I would not dare bring by car to let alone even shop at. I personaly would just walk into your local TLE and watch the techs for a bit, you can quickly get a good idea on how they treat the customers cars. For the most part Wal-Mart is just like any other shop out there, things happen, could happen to any one in any shop.

Worse comes to worse and your car is serviced at Wal-Mart then keep my screen name handy, I will be more than happy to listen to your situation and help put things in your favor.

if you go to a toyota dealer, its $60 to mount and balance.
discount tire is usually $10-20 per wheel depending on the wheel's diameter.
