LOL thats why you dont dump them

if you want coilovers just to go low get the F2's or D2s or some like that

JICs/HKS/Zeals/SSPs arent for dumping

thats why i switched from H&R (which could go low) to HKS because they have more potential to maximize handling

raise them up a bit and tweak the dampening and you'll be impressed by them

well... first of all, what is the OP's budget limit. there are a bunch of ideas being thrown around, but he failed to mention his budget. your budget will let you determine if you can go for the good ones or not.

Yeah that's very true. It sounds as if his budget is around the 800 level, if he is trying to keep KSports on the list, because of price.

do you guys switch to stock suspension when it comes winter time? Or do you leave your coilovers on all year round?

The ride SHOULD be much rougher the lower you go. if not, you have junk for springs. If rate is not significantly higher with a drop, you may think you have a good set of nice riding springs, but you have really killed the handling of the car. S-techs suck for handling hands down. Way too low and way too soft.

Does height matter on JIC coilovers? I used bracket to adjust height and I haven't been messing with springs yet. It looks like shocks and spring aren't affected at any height. I might be wrong. I raised my car up to Trd level and set dampening on softest. It got a little better but still bumpy.

I too am looking to see which coilovers to get once the time come. Im starting my research early. I dont want to go insanely low just want to get a nice low stance on 17" wheels and want to have a excellent handling car. so i would like coilovers with dampening adjustment and camber plates. Price range would like to be kept around $1000-$1300. Let me know what you guys suggest.

My thoughts soo far were D2, Tein Basics and Progress.
