What a mess with the dealership
Got my tC back yesterday after they installed new performance clutch, struts and shocks, springs and strut bar (they missed that altogether). I drove the car home and it was making the most god aweful thuds and clunks from the rear fender wells - real bad sound. Took it back today and they neglected to notice there's about 1 1/2" of space between the shock and spring and the housing underneath. That would account for the aweful sound, the shock and spring were bouncing around freely underneath the wheel well. They have no idea how to correct and last I heard they were on the phone with TRD trying to figure out why this is happening and what they can do to fix. You would think with all the extra performance parts avail with the Scion tC they would have a good grasp on how to install - seems as though no one had any idea what the hell they were doing. I also reminded them I paid for a front strut bar too and if they would kindly include that this time around. Some real rocket scientists holed up in the service area this dealership.

That's why I hate letting other people work, drive, or even get near my car. That way, when something happens, I have only myself to blame. But sometimes you just have to let others work on your car...such as in this instance. Good luck and I hope they make it right for you.

Sounds like you need a different place to work on your car. Installing the parts you stated isn't rocket science, and they should have plenty of experience doing so, as well as an understanding of how the parts function. That doesn't appear to be the case with those people, so I'd take it someplace else, wouldn't want them to touch my car.

< only works on his own car...... for numerous reasons but mainly because f stuff like this happens there is only one person to blame and its hard to give myself the runaround
