Default Wheel hop with the Stiffy?

Hey guys, I installed my Ingalls Stiffy the other day and everything went pretty smooth. Before i installed it I set it to the 10mm wich is the stiffest setting. After the instalation i noticed that i still have a decent amount of wheelhop when shifting hard into 2nd gear. I've rechecked everything a hundred times and all seems fine. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem besides me. its starting to chap my ___. Thanks for the help guys.

you'll still get some mild wheel hop with the stiffy, but you should never have the severe wheel hop you may have experienced before. i like the sound when shifting hard into 2nd gear. it does those small little chirps all in a row. lol

for me i felt it helped greatly with the wheel hop and helped hold the engine in place when shifting hard. i've shifted into 3rd many times before i had it and it felt like nothing was there and missed 3rd badly. but since i haven't had that problem. especially after all my other tranny mods.

Dont get me wrong my Stiffy feels great.

What suspension are you running? That may have something to do with it.

Hmm...I dunno then. Mine doesn't do that. Maybe ease up on first to second shifts?

stiffy is a bandaid, not a solution to the wheelhop problem.
