You will know. You start to hear clunks and knocks in the suspension on numerous bumps, oil will start to leak from shocks, you will be consistantly riding lower and lower, and you will feel like you are on a tuna boat when you hit bumps.

Well shocks can NEVER hurt to be replaced when being matched with a performance lowering spring.

just get new shocks if your rolling out on stock ones. depending on how and where you drive...it may cost you even more if the damage is high later on.

You will be fine for awhile, but depending on how much you drive, road conditions, how rough you drive, will all factor in with how long the stock struts will last.....
