I have an engine lift at home but not sure how hard it'll be so I'm taking it to a shop for it to get done.

I did it, used jack and jack stands, start to finish on the front bar took me about 4-5 hours. I only attempted it, because my dad was helping me, and he's been wrenching on cars for decades.

yeah 4-5 hours even with someone who's been working on cars for years... get it done right and pay the install cash, you won;t regret it.

Who installed the front sway bars themselves?

Me.

How hard was it?

On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is an oil change, 4 is a clutch/flywheel change (for a tC), and 10 is a full port and polish, I'd call it a 3.

What kind of experience do yu have?

Lots over the last 25 years or so.

Did you use a lift or blocks?

Four jackstands. You could do it with two if you wanted. I would never work under a car on blocks. PM me if you want the complete low down.

Yeah I just used 2 jack stands and did the front first....it was a pain but not too bad. A buddy of mine helped out but other then that i have had very little wrenching on cars. Ive been working on motorcycles for years though.

As for the rear took about 20 minutes.

Only tip i could give would be to make sure you center the steering rack when putting it back on the front cradle. If you dont your steering wheel will not be centered when your done.

I did the install myself and I had someone use their air wrench to loosesn the four cradle bolts.

Two jack stands, with rear wheels stops worked just fine for me. You will learn so much from doing this install yourself... But I don't recommend it unless you've wrenched something before.

While your steernig wheel is perfectly straight, you might want to try jamming a block object between the front seat and steering wheel so the steering wheel stays unmoved as possible...

Also make sure to use another jack in the very center of the steering cradle to raise it while your tightening bolts. That way it stays even and you dont ahve to Force the bolts in where there of course get stripped if you do.

You can do it yourself... if you can't then you can take into a shop. Might want to get quotes beforehand. Good luck.

I didn't pay any attention to the steering at all. It didn't move in the slightest.
