Wierd Problem with my Trd Spring/Shocks
hello, its been about a week since i've installed the springs and shocks, and i've been noticing that the back driver left side (back left where u pump gas), sits noticeably lower than the passenger back right side. i dont think it is because the gas tank is on that side? is something wrong? please help me out. appreaciate it.

yeah thats not normal. i would double check everything you did and see how the pieces where installed. im guessing you might not have seated one of the springs correctly. keep us updated on your findings.

hrmm... I heard it but I didn't think it was true... and it still might not be... my driving instructor back about half a year told me to watch out for bent frames with the tCs... (he drives an xA)... I only heard it once... asked around once... heard nothing... but if thelast60 had the problem from the beginning, be careful it's not your frame thats bent... (he told me it has something to do with the way they ship the tCs)
don't want to sound stupid or anything... just trying to spread something I heard because I think its revelant =X
[edit: I sound pretty noobish, but he told me that it was the frame so an alignment won't do it... I guess this applies mostly to thelast60, who had the problem before he put any springs on]

I had a problem with my TRD springs also, but it wasn't the ride, it was they were making a chattering sound when I went over rough roads. Sounded like the heat shield over the muffler was loose. Turned out that the springs were rubbing themselfs and the dealership had to wrap the lower part of the rear springs with an felt product. Doesn't make the sound anymore, but not very attractive. they should have used a coil spring wrap that looks better.

My daughter and I put the TRD springs, struts and sway bar on a week ago, then the dealer aligned it. From ground to top of wheelwell is 25 inches all the way around with the stock wheels. They are all even, so you must have something wrong. I'm with the other posters, check the spring seat on the high side.
I will say, lowering the TC, plus the ground effects kit......you really need to be careful of the parking lots you choose
Last night, we put on a Streetglow underbody LED kit....I had a heck of a time just trying to get the floor jack under the car skirt It was pretty easy to do the sides and rear....but the front sucked big time. We ended up using a dremmel tool to carve out notches in the plastic underbody skid plate to slide the LED tube up so it would not show.
