its not really an xbrace until the connecting point (in the center) is welded.

there are better connecting points FYI if u just took off the rear panels.

i have a set up like this on my car currently that will be out for the next scion exposed. its a PITA though matching up cutting the holes. if i havent forgotten there is a 12mm bolt on the lower section of the c pillar u can connect to and make a true X

Stock tC seats do suck hard. I will definitely give you that. So Honduh! LOL Takata. Oh man.

Doing ok. Attempting to digest the holiday(s), time off from here and more work around my house. I'd rather be here truth be told. Carpentry is not my thing, but it's the fam trade and I am decent at it.

I have been over the holidays for sometime.

Definitely not expanding. Just updating. I bought a fix'r-up'r before the economy tanked and I have been slowly updating it from the 60s-70s to modern. The plumbing is all original and I had to replace about 3/4s of it already out of necessity. Same for many of other projects. Wife wanted the bedroom a different color and I said that's part of your Christmas present along with some of the plumbing being fixed in our full bathroom. Half bath luckily I did when we first moved in back several years ago. Having a 2yr old in day care full time restricts my cash flow hard for anything else....

so tcpete, do you have full usage of the trunk and the bar won't get into people's way? im thinking of doing that too, i want something to improve handling, and still be practical for the rear passengers.
