Default 17x8 wheel 235 or 225

My rims are 17x8 and I cannot decide to get either 235 or 225 BFG g-force KDW 2. I am also thinking of a 40 sidewall... any comments? What would you recommend?

Now why did you choose 225 over the 235?

1) cuz i'm low
2) a 225 wouldn't rub as much as a 235

if i could redo my setup which is 17x8 +35 with new tires, i'd go with 215s. primary reason being the constant rubbing

The offset on my rims is 48, so I dont know if I should be so concerned with rubbing... am I right?

a little of both. Not competition or anything just having fun on the track. I just really want a good combination for the rim.

I've been running 245/40 on 17x8 +46 since I got the car. No rubs.

Come... join Club 245. It's better here.

well a 245/40-17 tire will stick out .5 inches and go .7 inches closer to my car with the 48 offset. With H&R coilovers I may have a problem with them rubbing against the shock...
