Here are some pictures of the Rota DPT 17x9 +42 with 245/40/17 tire. He has no rubbing issues what so ever. It's also offered in 17x9 +35.

Thats exactly my car lol, but with ped spoiler, is it 2 inches dropped?? def getting my 17x9 +42 rims :D and that same size tire

I believe he might be dropped on TRD springs or H-Tech. Not low enough to be a 2" drop.
