because 5x100 sucks, no one has the wheels that i want... so much more of a choice with the 5x114.3 -- And the reason the wheel is sticking out farther like that is because i wanted to give it the aggressive "drift" look. all of the drift cars have the rear wheels sticking out farther than the front... i think it really sets the TC off. You can't tell me it doesnt look hot.

1) roll the rear fender lip using a baseball bat or fender roller. Google it if you dont know what I'm talking about.
2) set some negative camber.
3) put spring spacers (pepboys, autozone, etc) between the spring coils to prevent the springs from compressing.
4) get thinner tires or narrower tires and have them stretched onto the wheel, but since you have a 7.5 inch wide wheel, the narrowest is 215/35/18
5) get different wheels

Axis makes the reverb in 5x100 in lower offsets and wider widths. I know one guy who has a staggared set (the "drift look") on his tC.
I think if you do options 1-4, you'll be fine.

i found a site that gives u instructions on how to roll the fenders with a baseball bat. It looks fairly easy, so im going to try it tonight. now for the front i have to think about what ishould do, cause scion has that plastic liner.... i just cant roll that fender cause it serves as a guide for that plastic.

I actually like the look you have with your wheels and tires. I do not care for all the stickers why do you have an Enkei sticker when you have Axis wheels????
The set up you have with your Teins...you should have just known you were going to rub with the size tires/wheels you bought. be careful with the bat dont want to crack your paint.....
I would just take it in and have it professionally done but thats just my opinion

i would caution against the baseball bat method unless you or someone has experience doing it. the sheet metal is really thin on the tC, so you can warp it easily (it'll develop waviness). given the cheap paint on the tC, the baseball bat method would also rip the paint right off the metal, not just crack it. i took my car to a shop that has experience rolling fenders with a roller. most places charge $50 per fender.

Umm, you already have "lowpros." If you mean a smaller sidewall tire, then thats different. You really should've asked these questions before you got the wheels put on. Any person with any common sense on this site would have told you that with wheel spacers that wide and a s-tech drop, you would've rubbed.

first of all i didnt get the wheels from a shop.. and second of all i dont care about the rubbing, what i care about is what i can do to get rid of it... 90 % of people love the look that it has given. Now i just need to fix a little rubbing on the rear. I have a load of common sense, not everyone has an MECP Certification, and has been in the audio business for almost 10 years now.. People have their own talents and knowledge, Of course i knew it would rub... Ask me anything audio related and i guarantee u ill answer it in a professional, knowledgeable way... yet again i say this post is not to "mock or disgruntle" people who are posting.. if you want to say crap like "common sense" and crap like that then find a new post. I dont take that crap. Period. Ill be kicking ur ___ at the show anyway. "see I can talk immature crap too"

You posted a thread regarding your rubbing issue, so obviously you care about the rubbing.

What larry bird meant to say was if you mention about this setup prior to your purchase, then someone here that has knowledge about wheels would tell you they rub and what to add/ or take off to prevent the rubbing.

If your not ready to take people's opinions then you shouldn't of posted the thread and jumping on people.
