Wheel sizes are relative to the car. For example, my Lexus has 19" Work rims I would not go any larger. The same goes with the M3 also. On the other hand, large cars such as the BMW 6-Series can take 22" nicely.

Anyways, in the case of the Scion, I would say stick to 18-19. It can look really really tack if you throw on some big rims on such a small car.

IMO, stay away from Foose/MHT/Driv(The bolt patterns to match the tC are incredibly hard to find)

I was going with the Foose Speedster 18". bolt pattern on ANY of the 18-19" rims wont fit the tC.20"s would but they wouldnt look right

like the last guy said in his reply, 20"s on the tC make it look tacky
you want to stay with either an 18 or 19

to each their own. i kinda chuckle personally, but that's just me. hey, if you want to add more weight to the wheels than they already have, go for it. kinda looks silly to me though.

shoulda bought a 300. that's where those wheels belong.

imo of course.

if you want "go" get some lightweight 16's with a 235 width (they will fit, GTS celicas have 16's and the same brakes) I think 20's would look alright, I have 18's and I think they look small.

lets do this again and again everytime someone asks about 20's. YES they fit, NO they dont rub, YES they are on mine as a DAILY DRIVER. YES my car is lowered, YES it is more then 1". It is on Tein S techs. YES my car is still quick.
It is amazing how many people bash 20's. Most of the time it is cause they couldnt afford them or where unsure if they would fit. I seem to get asked alot if mine are 19"s or 20"s. Im not sure what people say dont look right about them. What dont look right is some small tiny wheel with such a huge fender. oh wait " Im a racer" oh and probably only have 2 rear wheels that are aftermarket and the front are the stocks. Isnt that the "racer" look. I bet if the tC's came with hubcaps you would have just pulled them and called it a race car too right?
It just amazes me how people will bash stuff and not have a single clue wether it fits or not. Just making guess's.
here is a pic of the car this weekend. So you tell me they dont fit and dont fill the gaps?

like i said, to each their own. i'd just put it this way and no disrespect intended, i swear;

the same person who wants "20s" on a tC is the same person who would put these stripes on the side of their car (unless you're getting paid by "MONSTER energy drink" for advertising, then i take it back....nice score. i was gonna have a bunch of ditech.com stuff plastered on my tC but we couldn't meet terms).

it's just a matter of taste. imo, 20s look "poseur".
