Default 2006 TC, Finally putting real wheels on

Hey Guys,

So I stopped modding my TC years ago. Bought it new as a 2006. But I have a bent stock rim now and am looking to get an aftermarket set. I am looking at the 17x8 Enkei RPF1's. Not sure whether to go silver or black. I have a Flint Mica model. Thinking black might make the wheels look smaller since it will blend with the tire. Also, though these rims are super lightweight, I'm worried that they will dent easily on these bay area highways and roads. Also, can I use the current 215/45's I have on my stock wheels (they will fit), or do I need to buy new tires too? Can anyone address my concerns and/or post pics of a flint mica TC with black wheels?

Sorry if this is a "do a search first" question. I've looked around and haven't been able to address all my questions. Thanks.

Silver > black.

Tire size should be fine just depends if you're lowered or not.

225/45 tires will be fine on ur 17x8... they will not look too stretched and be almost str8 on. 215/45 will stretch a little on the tire but the 45 series will still be comfy

i would get silver rpf1's there is actually pictures of 17x8 rpf1s on this site if you search the FM thread.
